If you’re going to do Vegas properly and repeatedly, you need a local ID card. They aren’t hard to get - as in any state if you can get a hold of your birth certificate and/or your social security and ten bucks, you can get a Vegas ID without giving up your license. If you drove to Vegas, make a point of taking a trip off the Strip by taxi. Expect the trip from the Strip to cost a bit more than the trip back. In the back of most of these cabs is a coupon booklet. After I get a chance to talk to my Vegas concierge, I’ll tell you how to get these coupons online too.
