Vegas, Tinu Style

For five years I lived in Vegas. And everyone wanted to visit me.
People I hadn’t heard from in years. People I never wanted to hear from. Loved ones, friends, business associates, everyone wanted to know everything about Vegas. “How do you get the best deals?” “Where can I find a great rate on a hotel?” “Where should I stay?”
Problem was, for just about the first three years I was in Vegas, I was pretty broke. Even when I was doing well, all my resources went to medication and treatment for an illness I have. So I always had to find the most cost-effective way to do something, whether it was get food, find entertainment, stay in a hotel on the Strip for some conference in town, or whatever it was.
Eventually I collected enough advice to give anyone the low down on the fair city of Vegas. During the first three years of brokeness, I still couldn’t invited anyone over. But if they happened to pop into town, I could make a show like I was a high roller.
And that’s what my blog is about, high roller fun in Vegas on a regular Joe budget.

Vegas seems like an amazing melting pot of culture. I’d love to visit sometime.
Well, you’d be welcome by me but I don’t live in Vegas anymore.
