[video] Bellagio Fountains - A Must See for Every Vegas Trip

You’ve probably seen the Bellagio Fountains from afar as a clip from a movie like Ocean’s Eleven. And anyone who has been to Vegas has probably told you that one of the best free things to do in Vegas is the Bellagio Fountains. What they may not have been able to articulate to you is why.

Now, that show can give you a little idea of how beautiful this show is, and the fact that it’s set to music. At night, as you can see, it’s even better, as the lights are coordinated as well. Seeing it up close, personally, is hundreds of times more beautiful. Go right at dusk if you can.

Otherwise, I suggest going in the middle of the week to an 11:15 pm show. It’s less busy if you go on the quarter hour than on the half or at the top of the hour.

Try to arrive just as the previous one is ending to get a really good spot. If you get there just on time, cross the street to a walk way or turn to the escalator going towards the shops, where you can get an elevated view if the show hasn’t started yet.

Immediately upon the show starting, foot traffic sometimes stops completely, so to get an elevated view, get there just before the show starts if you couldn’t get an up close spot.
